Ameritas Life Insurance to buy San Antonio’s LifeRe
Ameritas Life Insurance Corp. has filed an application to the Texas Department of Insurance seeking approval to purchase LifeRe Insurance Co. in San Antonio.
Officials with Ameritas Life are expecting state regulatory approval in June, with a targeted closing date of July 2. The purchase price was not disclosed.
